Fill the individual coin hoppers in the guest card terminal according to the table shown below. If a refund is attempted but not enough coins are available, the user will see the message ‘Insufficient coins in terminal. Please contact staff.' The terminal will still, however, function as a revalue loader, and card deposits will still be accepted.

With the exception of tube E (1p), the coin hoppers will automatically refill whenever coins are inserted for card deposits and account revalues. Tube E/1p should be regularly checked and manually topped up to ensure that refunds are possible to the exact amount. If required, the system can be configured to send an email to the relevant person/s to notify them that the terminal is running low on coins. Let Uniware know if you would like to activate this feature, and which email address/s should be used. Last four coins left in tubes are not refundable. After loading the coin hoppers you must insert the amount entered on the 'Add Loader Float' form in the back office. If this is not done, the system will start to enter negative coin hopper values as they begin to be used for refunds. |
