Changing the purpose of a button

Follow the instructions to select the required till map.

On the map, click on the required button. It will turn opaque, and the 'Till map menu' window will display the button's existing properties:

To change the selected button into a different item button:

Stock Code - Click on the dotted button next to the 'Stock Code' field. An item 'Search' form will appear. It will display details about the current item occupying the button:

 You must now search for the required item. This can be done in two ways:

To reveal a list of all items:

In the 'Search' field enter % and then click on 'Search'.

To reveal a list of items that match with, begin with, or contain specific letters:

In the 'Search' field enter a search term e.g. 'Beer' and then click on 'Search'.

The required list will be revealed. To select an item from it, just click on its name for it to be placed on the selected map button.

Stock UOM - Select a unit of measure for this item from the drop down list.

Show Price - Tick if you would like the button to display the item price as well as its description.

To change the selected button into a function button:

Function - Select a function from the pull down list next to the 'Function' field for its name to be placed on the selected map button.

After you have finished making changes to this till map, you must save your changes.
